0.6.7 Knowledge Domains Overviews Version 1.1 November 2016 Previous Version This last section of Part 0 (the Introduction) is used to explain how we present Parts 1 to 7. Each Part covers one knowledge domain, one each for: Philosophy, Science, History, Religion, Art, Personal Practice and Politics. Each Part has 2 to 7 Chapters that address the major subject areas on each of these domains. We’re still constructing these chapters, but we know (mostly) what they will contain. We’re working on it. As they are constructed, they’ll be posted on-line for review and refinement. In the meantime here we present an overview of each Part and Chapter, and our conclusions. For instance, Part 5 (Art and Media) has 2 Chapters: 5.1 (Art) and 5.2 (Media) in preparation. Here there is an overview of the whole Part, in section 5.0.0, and an overview of the chapter on Art in section 5.0.1 and of the chapter on Media on section 5.0.2. To make sure the overview remains a short, descriptive overview we have adopted the standard that each one must fit in one A4 page (with a 12 point font), about 600 words or less! These overviews, but not the detailed chapters, are included in the current book of this site: Global Beliefs and Values: A Reasonable Global Way Today’s Proposed Gold Standard <Print Date> An edited selection of pages from the web site By Trevor J Rogers
So in the current version of the book, the Chapter and Section numbers will look unusual. eg 5. Art and Media 5.0.0 Art and Media - Overview 5.0.1 Art - Overview 5.0.2 Media - Overview. 6. Personal Practice 6.0.0 Personal Practice - Overview 6.0.1 Personal Values - Overview 6.0.2 Personal Integration - Overview. … The detailed chapters: 5.1 Art 5.2 Media are not yet included in the book. Later books may include the details from each chapter – as well as the overviews!
